Night Life

When the South Florida sun sets, the party begins. Wellington has some options for an exciting night life but you might need to drive to downtown West Palm Beach or other local downtown’s to enjoy more of a variety.

Here is a list of some great bars and clubs in Wellington and the surrounding areas:

  1. Players Club (Wellington)- This upscale club/bar is a great place to enjoy a drink with friends or to meet some international polo players. Players Club is the main restaurant and club for the local Wellington equestrian population.  Located on a polo field, Players Club offers a perfect environment for a fun and interesting evening out. There is an exciting upscale club upstairs(cover charge) or a more chill bar with a DJ downstairs. The Players Club is definitely a unique experience. Sunday nights are the busiest because the equestrian world is off on Mondays.
  2. Nicoles Tavern (Wellington)- Nicole’s Tavern is an excellent restaurant but they also feature live music and great drinks at night. Thursday nights are Lady’s night and one of the best nights to go, since lady’s drink free! You will find all types of customers at Nicole’s, from bikers to locals to equestrian people.
  3. Gypsy Horse Pub & Restaurant (Wellington)- Taste an Irish beer or authentic Irish food in this local pub & restaurant. Live music can be enjoyed on some nights.  Pleasant place to grab a beer or a meal/snack.
  4. Reef Road Rum Bar (Downtown West Palm)- This fun restaurant/bar is the newest addition to the downtown West Palm Beach area. Reef Road Rum Bar is the only seafood restaurant in downtown West Palm Beach. They offer obviously many  types of rum, from really rare rums to a variety of  local rums.  They offer a great Happy Hour from 5-7 everyday! 561-838-9099

Sky309 (Downtown West Palm)- This new plush Rooftop destination is the only bar in downtown West Palm Beach with a fantastic rooftop view of Clematis street and the inter-coastal.  They have intimate seating areas and a very nicely designed bar. Once you arrive to the rooftop from a private elevator, you will walk out onto a large open rooftop with an Island feel and a dance floor. Don’t miss their excellent Happy Hour Seafood Buffet for only $5 dollars with a two drink minimum on Thursdays and Fridays.
  6. Bradley’s (Downtown West Palm)-  E.R Bradley’s is a West Palm Beach institution. Once located on the exclusive Island of Palm Beach, now Bradley’s is more accessible to everyone not only the super rich. This upscale but yet casual restaurant/bar features serene views of  the Inter-coastal and the Island of Palm Beach.  Bradley’s transforms from a great restaurant in the day to a popular bar/club in the evening. You get everyone from the Palm Beachers to local folks enjoying well mixed drinks in a perfect South Florida environment.
  7. Cucina (Island of Palm Beach)- If you feel like sipping on a Cocktail with the local posh Palm Beach crowd then visit Cucinas. Located on the classy Island of Palm Beach. It has been the local Island hot spot for several years now. They offer a great lunch and dinner menu in a relaxed, first-class environment.  Fridays & Saturdays get busy with a live DJ. Everything from Hip Hop too Rock& Roll is played.
  8. Lost Weekend (Downtown West Palm)- A trendy Pool Hall/Bar located above Dr. Feelgood’s on the 2nd floor.  Play a game of pool or darts while overlooking the Dr. Feelgood’s dance floor. Great spot to have a drink and enjoy a good conversation with friends. 561-833-6500
